Located in Hassan district and about 230 kilometers from Bangalore, Belur is another heritage pick that excels the architectural works of the Hoysala Empire. The major attraction in Belur is the Chennakeshava temple complex that secludes the Chennakesava Temple, which is dedicated to Lord Vishnu, as the centre piece, surrounded by the Kappe Chennigraya temple built by Shantaladevi, queen of king Vishnuvardhana. The other two shrines are still in use by devotees and there is a Pushkarni or stepped well to the right side of the main entrance.

Day 1: Bengaluru to Hassan

Morning Pick up from Bangalore Station/Airport, Later Depart to Hassan, Enroute visit Belur,thecapital of Hoysala Dyansty, visit Chennakesava Temple, built on a star shaped platform with anambulatory and has hand lathe turned filigreed pillars and sculptures and proceed to Halebid, visit Hoysaleshwara Temple – which comprises two temples joined by a single platform dedicated to Lord Shiva and Shantleshwara. The walls is richly carved with epics of Ramayana and Mahabharata, check in Hotel, Night halt at Hassan.

Day 2: Hassan to Bengaluru

Morning after Breakfast Check out Hotel, later Visit Sharvanbelagola – the tallest Monolithic Staute of Gomateshwara, the 17mt, hight, Noon Depart to Bangalore. Reach Bangalore at Night.
